Message from Running U:

     Our Annual Running U Livestock Quarter Horse Production Sale is quickly approaching. This amazing sale will be held on Sat. Aug. 28, 2010 at the Deseret Peak Complex in Tooele, Utah. The performance preview will begin at 9:30 a.m., with a BBQ lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale starts at 1 p.m.

      We are very excited about this years foal crop, as it is turning out to be one of our best so far. There are many colors to chose from: roans, buckskins, grays, sorrels, bays and palominos. We pride ourselves with the awesome horses we raise, all with great conformation, withers, good bone and feet, dispositions and speed. All of Running U horses are raised on over 30,000-plus acres of mountain range. This ensures a sure foot and a keen sense of the open range.

      A large number of the horses that will be offered for sale this year include many top geldings that are seasoned, ranch using horses. Running U Livestock is a working cattle ranch and our horses are used daily. Running U has a reputation for producing some of the areas finest horses and this year is no exception.

      Some of the outstanding bloodlines will be right on their registration papers and they include, Cee Booger Red, Blue Apache Warrior, Peppy San Badger, Smart Little Lena, Doc Bar, Eddie, Snicklefritz Chex, I’ll Be Smart, Lad Leo, Mr. Gun Smoke, Prepotent, Star Chex Badger, Whiskey News, Dry Doc and many more greats.
